Fort Wayne Basketball League

The Fort Wayne Basketball League is a recreational level league where young basketball players can learn to love basketball and compete, while building confidence and developing the proper skills.

The FWBL is for boys in 3rd-8th grade, and all registrants will attend our Preview Nights on the evening of Oct. 30th and Nov. 1st.  All teams will then be formed through a draft after our Preview Nights take place.  The coaches can evaluate their current abilities and we can create as balanced and competitive teams as we can. These preview nights will be led by the University of Saint Francis coaching staff, Club1 staff, and parent volunteer coaches. For more information email us at [email protected]. Register by October 29th.

FWBL will consist of:

-Eight total weeks of basketball.

-Separate divisions for 3rd/4th graders, 5th/6th graders, and 7th/8th graders.

-$95 registration fee will include a T-shirt uniform.

-All-star team opportunities after the completion of the FWBL for leagues and tournaments in January-March.

-Practice and compete at the SportONE Fieldhouse and Spiece Fieldhouse.

-Volunteer coaches will be utilized and will have background checks and be led and trained in one coaching clinic as well as two preview night practices by the University of Saint Francis basketball and Club1 Basketball coaching staffs.

-The first week will consist of two one hour practices (Preview Nights) that we will use to train our coaches and to evaluate the players.

-Weeks two and three will have one practice with their team and a game on Saturday mornings.

-Week four will have one practice (Thanksgiving week).

-Weeks five, six, and seven will have one practice with their team and a game on Saturday mornings.
